ESC Volunteer: Ziad Ameen
We’re proud to announce that our dear volunteer Ziad Ameen has officially embarked on his long-term European Solidarity Corps (ESC) journey in Romania, joining the Arts Lab 6.0 project hosted by Supertineri – ASIRYS Association.
With a background in art, architecture, and youth engagement, Ziad is passionate about using creativity to make a difference. Throughout the coming months, he will be working with young people in the small town of Târgu Frumos, co-creating workshops, cultural activities, and community-based events.
“I’m really excited to explore Romanian culture and share my own skills and passions,” Ziad shared before his departure. “I hope to learn, connect, and grow.”
As part of his role, Ziad will contribute to:
- Designing non-formal learning activities for rural youth
- Supporting local artists and crafters
- Helping organize cultural events and experiential museums
- Creating his own personal project based on art and design
This opportunity is not only a chance to travel it’s a space for intercultural learning, community building, and deep personal development.
